Caribbean Airlines

Caribbean Airlines is not only Trinidad and Tobago's national airline, but also recently became Jamaica's flagship airline after it acquired Air Jamaica. Trinidad and Tobago's government owns the majority of Caribbean Airlines, while the carrier's minority partner is the Jamaican national government.

Caribbean Airlines, whose slogan is 'the warmth of the islands,' first operated on New Year's Day 2007, and its two hub airports are Piarco International Airport on the island of Trinidad and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica.

The Caribbean Airlines logo is a flying hummingbird and the tails of its aircraft are brightly decorated with Trinidad and Tobago's national flag as well as Caribbean symbols such as butterflies, cricket balls, fruits, fish, and even a steelpan. The staff of Caribbean Airlines all wear purple, blue, and green uniforms in the company's official colours.
